Take the focus off of stinky ol' Kerry! Rally around the Push Cheney Out campaign.
This is much more successful for the Party than the prematurely abandoned "Vote Kerry, he's not as scary" marketing thrust. Many supporters complained about the ad campaign, which featured the often-controversial comparison of Bush as Adolph Hitler to Kerry as Herman Munster.
