Kerry has helped spread participation in the political process. Rather than re-use campaign advisers that successfully ran two national campaigns, he let others try their hands - former congressional staffers, local massachsetts hacks, even a totally out of touch failure (schrum). 1. Hasn't anyone on his staff told him that Reagan, Clinton, Bush etc all talked to the public like normal humans rather than making grandiose speaches. 2. You can see it in the ads now running in NH, a contested state. The punch line is actually a reinforcement of the Bush-Cheney re-election argument. Many people support W because they like the fact that he is resolute. So the brilliant Kerry team decides to fight him by saying that he is too stubborn to flip flop. 3. He keeps trying to find ways to give voters reasons not to vote for him. In the national debate Bush ducked and said he is not an expert on human sexual preferences. Kerry on the other hand, decides he is. Thats the reason most Americans will vote for him? And Edwards decides to drive away all the Catholic voters in PA who would rather give up their economic well being than support embryonic stem-cell experiments by making a national speach about it. Putting these morons up against Rove is like putting a jr high football team on the field in the NFL.
